[925] A phenomenon (dhamma) with root to be abandoned by mental development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) is a condition, by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), for a phenomenon with root to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka): object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: In dependence on lust (rāga) with root to be abandoned by mental development, one kills living beings … creates a schism in the Saṅgha. In dependence on hatred (dosa) with root to be abandoned by mental development … delusion (moha) … conceit (māna) … longing (patthanā), one kills living beings … creates a schism in the Saṅgha.
Lust with root to be abandoned by mental development … longing is a condition, by decisive-support condition, for lust with root to be abandoned by seeing, for hatred, for delusion, for wrong view (diṭṭhi), for longing.
Desire-and-lust (chandarāga) for one's own goods is a condition, by decisive-support condition, for desire-and-lust for another's goods; desire-and-lust for one's own possessions (pariggaha) is a condition, by decisive-support condition, for desire-and-lust for another's possessions.
