[941] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) are a condition, by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by development and a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development: proximity decisive support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive support: the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), and delusion (moha), are a condition, by decisive-support condition, for the aggregates accompanied by restlessness and for delusion.
