[929] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: In dependence on faith (saddhā), one gives a gift (dāna) … gives rise to an attainment (samāpatti). In dependence on virtue (sīla) … wisdom (paññā), bodily pleasure (kāyika sukha), bodily pain (kāyika dukkha), climate (utu), food (bhojana), lodging (senāsana) … delusion (moha), one gives a gift … Faith … delusion is a condition for faith, for fruition attainment (phalasamāpatti), and for delusion by way of decisive-support condition.
