[714] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya):
Object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: In dependence on faith (saddhā), one gives a gift (dāna) … causes an attainment (samāpatti) to arise. In dependence on virtue (sīla) … learning (suta), generosity (cāga), wisdom (paññā), bodily pleasure (kāyika sukha), bodily pain (kāyika dukkha), climate (utu), food (bhojana) … lodging (senāsana), one gives a gift … causes an attainment to arise.
Faith … virtue, learning, generosity, wisdom, bodily pleasure, bodily pain, climate, food … lodging is a condition for faith, for wisdom, for bodily pleasure, for bodily pain, for the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti) by decisive-support condition.
