Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 967

[967] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva dassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) is a condition, by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development. Nutriments (āhāra) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development are a condition, by nutriment condition, for the associated aggregates (khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), edible nutriment (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) [is a condition] for this body.
