[405] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a taint (āsava) and associated with taints (āsavasampayutta), a phenomenon that is both a taint and associated with taints arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): dependent on the taint of sensual desire (kāmāsava), the taint of views (diṭṭhāsava) and the taint of ignorance (avijjāsava) [arise]. The cycle (cakka) should be linked. Dependent on the taint of existence (bhavāsava), the taint of ignorance [arises]. The cycle. Dependent on the taint of views, the taint of ignorance [arises].
