[469] A phenomenon (dhamma) dissociated from fetters (saññojana-vippayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from fetters by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇa-purejāta) and base-prenascence (vatthu-purejāta).
Object-prenascence: the eye … the base as impermanent … One sees a form with the divine eye (dibbacakkhu); one hears a sound with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu). The form sense base (rūpāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the tangible sense base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa).
Base-prenascence: the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness, the body sense base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness; the base (vatthu) is a condition for the aggregates (khandha) dissociated from fetters and for delusion (moha) by prenascence condition.
A phenomenon dissociated from fetters is a condition for a phenomenon associated with fetters (saññojana-sampayutta) by prenascence condition: object-prenascence and base-prenascence.
Object-prenascence: one relishes and delights in the eye … the base; with that as object, lust (rāga) … grief arises.
