[172] A mind-originated (cittasamuṭṭhāna) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for a mind-originated phenomenon by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: having esteemed mind-originated aggregates (khandhā), mind-originated aggregates arise.
Conascence-predominance: a mind-originated predominant (adhipati) is a condition for the associated aggregates and for mind-originated forms (rūpa) by predominance condition.
All three [sections] should be done with both object-predominance and conascence-predominance.
A phenomenon that is not mind-originated (no-cittasamuṭṭhāna) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not mind-originated by predominance condition: object-predominance: the noble ones (ariyā), having esteemed Nibbāna, … Having esteemed aggregates that are not mind-originated, one relishes and delights in them; having esteemed that, mind (citta) arises.
A phenomenon that is not mind-originated is a condition for a mind-originated phenomenon by predominance condition: object-predominance and conascence-predominance. Object-predominance: the noble ones, having esteemed Nibbāna, … Having esteemed aggregates that are not mind-originated, one relishes and delights in them; lust (rāga) arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises. Conascence-predominance: a predominant that is not mind-originated is a condition for the associated aggregates and for mind-originated forms by predominance condition.
A phenomenon that is not mind-originated is a condition for a mind-originated phenomenon and for a phenomenon that is not mind-originated by predominance condition: object-predominance: the noble ones, having esteemed Nibbāna, … having esteemed aggregates that are not mind-originated, … mind and the associated aggregates arise.
A mind-originated phenomenon and a phenomenon that is not mind-originated are a condition for a mind-originated phenomenon by predominance condition: object-predominance. The three [sections] are object-predominance only.
