[773] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not of the form sphere by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇa-purejāta) and base-prenascence (vatthu-purejāta).
Object-prenascence: the eye (cakkhu) … the base (vatthu) as impermanent … grief (domanassa) arises.
The form base (rūpāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa); the tangible base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) … .
Base-prenascence: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness; the body base (kāyāyatana) …; the base is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) that are not of the form sphere by prenascence condition.
A phenomenon that is not of the form sphere is a condition for a phenomenon of the form sphere by prenascence condition: object-prenascence and base-prenascence.
