[1162] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by conflict (saraṇa) that is both a root and associated with roots (hetuñceva-hetusampayuttañca), a phenomenon that is not without conflict (na-araṇa) and is not both-a-root-and-dissociated-from-roots (na-hetuñceva-na-hetuvippayuttañca) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). This is similar to the root-and-accompanied-by-roots dyad (hetusahetukaduka). THE ACCOMPANIED-BY-CONFLICT DYAD, NOT-ROOT-ACCOMPANIED-BY-ROOTS DYAD: THE NOT-ACCOMPANIED-BY-CONFLICT DYAD, NOT-ROOT-NOT-ACCOMPANIED-BY-ROOTS DYAD (saraṇaduka-nahetusahetukaduke na-saraṇaduka-na-hetu-na-sahetukaduka)
