[1163] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by conflict (saraṇa) that is a not-root accompanied by roots (nahetu sahetuka), a phenomenon that is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa) and is a not-root not accompanied by roots (na-hetu na-sahetuka) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). One. Dependent on a phenomenon without conflict (araṇa) that is a not-root accompanied by roots, a phenomenon that is not accompanied by conflict and is a not-root not accompanied by roots arises by root condition.
