[1279] Conditioned by (paccayā) a phenomenon (dhamma) dissociated from taints and not free of taints (āsavavippayutta na-anāsava) that is not a root (na-hetu), a phenomenon dissociated from taints and free of taints (āsavavippayutta anāsava) that is a root (hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
