[211] Now here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu abuses and reviles householders. If in that case the bhikkhus think thus: "Friends, this bhikkhu abuses and reviles householders; come now, let us carry out an act of reconciliation (paṭisāraṇīyakamma) against him," and they carry out the act of reconciliation against him — as a faction, contrary to Dhamma … in harmony, contrary to Dhamma; as a faction, in accordance with Dhamma; as a faction, by a semblance of Dhamma; in harmony, by a semblance of Dhamma.
