[210] Bhikkhus, here a bhikkhu is a corrupter of families (kuladūsaka), one of depraved conduct (pāpasamācāra). In that case, if the bhikkhus think thus: "Friends, this bhikkhu is a corrupter of families, one of depraved conduct; come, let us carry out an act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) against him," and they carry out the act of banishment against him not in accordance with the Dhamma, by an incomplete assembly (vagga) — he goes from that residence (āvāsa) to another residence. There too the bhikkhus think thus: "Friends, this bhikkhu has had an act of banishment carried out against him by the Saṅgha not in accordance with the Dhamma, by an incomplete assembly; come, let us carry out an act of banishment against him," and they carry out the act of banishment against him not in accordance with the Dhamma, by a complete assembly (samagga) … in accordance with the Dhamma, by an incomplete assembly; by a semblance of the Dhamma, by an incomplete assembly; by a semblance of the Dhamma, by a complete assembly.
