[117] Bhikkhus, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may impose the act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) on three other bhikkhus as well: one possesses destructiveness (upaghātika) by body; one possesses destructiveness by speech; one possesses destructiveness by body and speech. On these three bhikkhus, bhikkhus, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may impose the act of banishment.
