[116] Bhikkhus, if it wishes, the Saṅgha may carry out an act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) against three further kinds of bhikkhus: one who is possessed of improper conduct (anācāra) by body; one who is possessed of improper conduct by speech; and one who is possessed of improper conduct by body and speech. These, bhikkhus, are the three kinds of bhikkhus against whom, if it wishes, the Saṅgha may carry out an act of banishment.
