[169] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses eight qualities, the act of reconciliation (paṭisāraṇīyakamma) should not be revoked: he suspends the Uposatha of a regular bhikkhu (pakatatta); he suspends the Pavāraṇā; he issues a directive; he initiates an accusation; he has leave [to accuse] granted; he reproves; he reminds [him of an offense]; he joins bhikkhus in disputes with bhikkhus.
