[38] Bhikkhus, the act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) should not be revoked for a bhikkhu who possesses eight factors: he suspends the Uposatha of a bhikkhu in good standing (pakatatta); he suspends the Pavāraṇā; he issues a directive (savacanīya); he sets an accusation (anuvāda) in motion; he causes leave (okāsa) to be granted; he reproves; he reminds; he incites bhikkhus against bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, the act of censure should not be revoked for a bhikkhu who possesses these eight factors. The eighteen cases in which (the act) should not be revoked are finished.
