[223] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses eight factors, the act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not seeing an offence (āpatti) should be revoked: he does not cancel the Uposatha of a bhikkhu of regular standing (pakatatta); he does not cancel the Pavāraṇā; he does not make him subject to a directive (savacanīya); he does not set up a censure (anuvāda) against him; he does not have him grant leave (okāsa); he does not accuse him; he does not remind him; and he does not set bhikkhus at odds with bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these eight factors, the act of suspension for not seeing an offence should be revoked.
