[274] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of eight factors, the act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not making amends for an offense (āpatti) should be revoked: he does not suspend the Uposatha of a regular (pakatatta) bhikkhu; he does not suspend the Pavāraṇā; he does not issue a directive (savacanīya); he does not initiate a censure (anuvāda); he does not have leave granted [for accusation]; he does not accuse; he does not remind [of an offense]; he does not incite bhikkhus against bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of these eight factors, the act of suspension for not making amends for an offense should be revoked.
