[266] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses eight factors, the act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not making amends for an offence (āpatti) should not be revoked: he suspends the Uposatha of a regular bhikkhu (pakatatta); he suspends the Pavāraṇā; he issues a directive (savacanīya); he initiates a censure proceeding (anuvāda); he has leave (okāsa) granted; he accuses; he reminds; he incites bhikkhus against bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these eight factors, the act of suspension for not making amends for an offence should not be revoked.
The set of forty-three cases in which the act of suspension for not making amends for an offence should not be revoked is finished.
