[317] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses eight factors, the act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not relinquishing an evil view should be revoked: he does not cancel the Uposatha of a bhikkhu of regular standing (pakatatta); he does not cancel the Pavāraṇā; he does not issue a directive (savacanīya); he does not initiate a censure (anuvāda); he does not have leave (okāsa) made; he does not accuse; he does not remind (of an offense); he does not set bhikkhus at odds with bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these eight factors, the act of suspension for not relinquishing an evil view should be revoked.
The eighteen (factors) whereby the act of suspension for not relinquishing an evil view should be revoked are finished.
