[78] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses five further factors, the act of demotion (niyassakamma) should not be revoked: he commits the very offense for which the act of demotion was carried out by the Saṅgha, or another of a similar kind, or one still worse than that; he criticizes the act; he criticizes those who carried out the act. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these five factors, the act of demotion should not be revoked.
