[123] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses five further factors, the act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) should not be revoked: he commits the very offense (āpatti) on account of which the act of banishment was carried out by the Saṅgha, or another of the same kind, or one still worse than that; he criticizes the act; he criticizes those who carried out the act. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these five factors, the act of banishment should not be revoked.
