[122] Bhikkhus, an act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) imposed on a bhikkhu possessed of five factors should not be revoked: he gives full ordination (upasampadā); he gives dependence (nissaya); he has a novice (sāmaṇera) attend upon him; he accepts the agreement to be an exhorter of bhikkhunīs (bhikkhunovādakasammati); and even when so agreed upon, he exhorts bhikkhunīs. Bhikkhus, an act of banishment imposed on a bhikkhu possessed of these five factors should not be revoked.
