[81] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses five further factors, the act of demotion (niyassakamma) should be revoked: he does not commit the offense (āpatti) for which the act of demotion was performed by the Saṅgha, nor another offense of the same kind, nor one worse than that; he does not criticize the act; and he does not criticize those who carried out the act. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these five factors, the act of demotion should be revoked.
