Pabbājanīyakamma

[90] Bhikkhus, an act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) possessed of three further factors is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma, an act not in accordance with the Vinaya, and one badly settled: it is done for no offense (āpatti); it is done for an offense not conducive to confession (adesanāgāminī); it is done for an offense that has already been confessed. Bhikkhus, an act of banishment possessed of these three factors is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma, an act not in accordance with the Vinaya, and one badly settled.
