[83] Therein, bhikkhus, as for those ascetics and brahmins who are proponents of percipient existence after death, who declare that the self is percipient after death (uddhamāghātanikā saññīvādā) on sixteen grounds — that they should experience this apart from contact (phassa): such a thing is impossible.
