[139] Now at that time, during a famine (dubbhikkha), a certain bhikkhu entered a boiled-rice shop and, with the intention to steal (theyyacitta), took away a bowlful of boiled rice. Remorse arose in him … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offence (āpatti) of pārājika."
