[169] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu, with intent to steal (theyyacitta), took away a couch belonging to the Saṅgha. He was remorseful … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offense (āpatti) — a pārājika."
Now at that time a certain bhikkhu … a chair belonging to the Saṅgha … a mattress belonging to the Saṅgha … a pillow belonging to the Saṅgha …¹ … a door-panel belonging to the Saṅgha … a window belonging to the Saṅgha … a rafter belonging to the Saṅgha — with intent to steal, took it away. He was remorseful … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offense — a pārājika."
