[1008] Bhikkhus, it is because these three faculties (indriya) have been developed and cultivated that final knowledge (aññā) was declared by the bhikkhu Piṇḍolabhāradvāja thus: "I understand: 'Destroyed is birth, the holy life has been lived, done is what had to be done, there is no further existence in any state of being.'"
