[536] And what, bhikkhus, is not a nutriment (anāhāra) for the arising of unarisen ill will (byāpāda), or for the increase and expansion of arisen ill will? There is, bhikkhus, the liberation of mind (cetovimutti): frequently giving careful attention (yoniso manasikāra) to it—this is not a nutriment for the arising of unarisen ill will, or for the increase and expansion of arisen ill will.
