[207] One fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to jeer at, desiring to scorn, desiring to humiliate one fully ordained, speaks of the low in terms of the high — that is, addresses one of the Kosiya clan, or of the Bhāradvāja clan, saying: "You are a Gotama," "You are a Moggallāna," "You are a Kaccāyana," "You are a Vāseṭṭha" — there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya) for each and every utterance.
