[209] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to jeer at, desiring to scorn, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of one who is low by way of what is low: to a carpenter (koṭṭhaka) or a flower-scavenger (pupphachaḍḍaka) he says, "You are a carpenter! You are a flower-scavenger!" — for each utterance there is an offense of pācittiya.
