[214] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to jeer at, desiring to scorn, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, addresses one of superior craft in terms of an inferior one — saying to a hand-reckoner (muddhika), an accountant (gaṇaka), or a scribe (lekhaka): "You are a basket-maker," "you are a potter," "you are a weaver," "you are a leather-worker," "you are a barber" — there is an offense of pācittiya for each utterance.
