[216] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to insult, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of what is high with reference to what is high: to a hand-reckoner (muddhika),¹ an accountant (gaṇaka), or a scribe (lekhaka), he says, "You are a hand-reckoner," "You are an accountant," "You are a scribe" — there is an offense of pācittiya for each and every utterance.
