[217] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to insult, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of the low with what is low: to one afflicted with leprosy, with boils, with eczema, with consumption, or with epilepsy, he says, "You are a leper," "You have boils," "You have eczema," "You are a consumptive," "You are an epileptic" — for each utterance there is an offense of pācittiya.
