[218] A fully ordained one (upasampanna), desiring to jeer at, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate a fully ordained one, addresses the exalted in terms of the inferior — that is, says to one afflicted with diabetes (madhumehika): "You are a leper, you have boils, you have eczema (kilāsa), you have consumption, you are an epileptic" — there is an offense of Pācittiya for each utterance.
