[219] A fully ordained one (upasampanna), wishing to revile, wishing to disparage, wishing to humiliate a fully ordained one, speaks of the low by way of the high: to one who has leprosy, to one who has boils, to one who has ringworm, to one who has consumption, to one who has epilepsy, he says, "You are a diabetic" — for each utterance there is an offense of pācittiya.
