[242] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), wishing to scold one who is fully ordained, wishing to disparage him, wishing to put him to shame, speaks thus — he says: "We are not caṇḍālas, not bamboo-workers, not hunters, not cart-makers, not flower-scavengers (pukkusā)" … he says: "We are not wise, not competent, not intelligent, not learned, not speakers of the Dhamma; there is no bad destination for us; only a good destination is to be expected for us" — there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) for each utterance.
