[244] One who is fully ordained (upasampanno), desiring to insult, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is not fully ordained (anupasampannaṃ), speaks thus — he says: "There are here some who are outcastes (caṇḍālā), bamboo-workers (veṇā), hunters (nesādā), cartwrights (rathakārā), refuse-sweepers (pukkusā)" … he says: "There are here some who are wise, competent, intelligent, learned, speakers on the Dhamma; for them there is no bad destination; only a good destination is to be expected for them" — there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) for each utterance.
