[245] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to abuse, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is not fully ordained (anupasampanna), speaks thus — he says: "Those, it seems, who are caṇḍālas, bamboo-workers (veṇā), hunters (nesādā), cart-makers (rathakārā), refuse-removers (pukkusā)…" — there is an offense of wrong conduct (dukkaṭa) for each and every utterance. … He says: "Those, it seems, who are wise, competent, intelligent, learned, speakers on the Dhamma…" — there is an offense of wrong conduct for each and every utterance.
