[440] When the formal act (kamma) is not in accordance with the Dhamma, perceiving it as a formal act in accordance with the Dhamma, there is an offense (āpatti) of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). When the formal act is not in accordance with the Dhamma, being in doubt, there is an offense of wrong-doing. When the formal act is not in accordance with the Dhamma, perceiving it as a formal act not in accordance with the Dhamma, there is an offense of wrong-doing.
