[721] When the act is legitimate (dhammakamma), and he perceives it as a legitimate act, if he departs, rising from his seat without having given his consent (chanda), there is an offense of expiation (pācittiya).
When the act is legitimate, and he is in doubt, if he departs, rising from his seat without having given consent, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).
When the act is legitimate, and he perceives it as an illegitimate act, if he departs, rising from his seat without having given consent, there is no offense (anāpatti).
When the act is illegitimate, and he perceives it as a legitimate act, there is an offense of wrong-doing.
When the act is illegitimate, and he is in doubt, there is an offense of wrong-doing.
When the act is illegitimate, and he perceives it as an illegitimate act, there is no offense.
