[352] Bhikkhus, one who possesses six things is deposited in hell (niraya) as if carried and placed there. Which six? He is one who destroys living beings (pāṇātipātī), one who takes what is not given (adinnādāyī), one who engages in sexual misconduct (kāmesu micchācārī), one who speaks falsehood (musāvādī), one of evil desires (pāpiccha), and one of wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, one who possesses these six things is deposited in hell as if carried and placed there.
Bhikkhus, one who possesses six things is deposited in heaven (sagga) as if carried and placed there. Which six? He is one who abstains from destroying living beings, abstains from taking what is not given, abstains from sexual misconduct, abstains from false speech, is one of few desires (appiccha), and one of right view (sammādiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, one who possesses these six things is deposited in heaven as if carried and placed there.
