Thinking, "I shall ordain her," she searches for a group (gaṇa), or a teacher (ācarinī), or a bowl, or a robe, or she authorizes a boundary (sīmā): an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). With the motion (ñatti): a wrong-doing. With the two proclamations (kammavācā): wrong-doings. At the conclusion of the proclamations, for the preceptor (upajjhāyā) there is an offense of expiation (pācittiya); for the group and for the teacher there is an offense of wrong-doing.
