[390] When the formal act is legitimate (dhammakamma), perceiving the act as legitimate, she gives ordination (vuṭṭhāpeti): an offense of pācittiya. When the formal act is legitimate, being in doubt, she gives ordination: an offense of pācittiya. When the formal act is legitimate, perceiving the act as illegitimate, she gives ordination: an offense of pācittiya. When the formal act is illegitimate, perceiving the act as legitimate: an offense of dukkaṭa. When the formal act is illegitimate, being in doubt: an offense of dukkaṭa.
