[98] To the Sambuddha, golden in complexion,
the recipient of oblations,
as he was walking along the road,
I gave an amora fruit.
In the ninety-first eon from now,
when I gave that fruit,
I know of no bad destination:
this is the fruit of the gift of fruit.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away;
all existences (bhava) have been extirpated;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds,
I dwell without taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming
into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained;
the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā)
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder Amoraphaliya spoke these verses.
