Phenomena subject to taints (sāsava) — wholesome (kusala), unwholesome (akusala), and indeterminate (abyākata) — pertaining to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), pertaining to the form sphere (rūpāvacara), pertaining to the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the form aggregate (rūpakkhandha) … the consciousness aggregate (viññāṇakkhandha) — these phenomena are surpassable.
Which phenomena are unsurpassable (anuttara)?
The unincluded (apariyāpanna) paths (magga) and the fruits of the paths (maggaphala), and the unconditioned element (asaṅkhatā dhātu) — these phenomena are unsurpassable.
