[1125] For whomever, wherever, the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) does not cease, does that one's verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) not cease there? For those without in-and-out breathing (assāsapassāsa), at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of thought and examination (vitakka-vicāra), the bodily formation of those [beings] does not cease there, but it is not the case that the verbal formation of those [beings] does not cease there. For all [beings], at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the mind (citta); for those without in-and-out breathing, at the moment of the dissolution of a mind without thought and without examination; and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): the bodily formation of those [beings] does not cease there, and the verbal formation does not cease. Or alternatively, for whomever, wherever, the verbal formation … Both the "for whomever" (yassaka) [section] and the "for whomever, wherever" (yassayatthaka) [section] should be elaborated in the same way. In the "for whomever, wherever" [section], the phrase "of those attained to cessation (nirodhasamāpannānaṃ)" should not be applied. ___________
